In Memoriam
Barbara and Bobby Joe Price came from humble beginnings and through sacrifice and dedication they were able to build a life for themselves that provided family, love, and financial stability. These two individuals, together, brought forth a small but tightly-knit family centered on their values of hard work, faith, and education.

Because of their stories of purpose and continued hopes for their children and grandchildren, two things became very clear: (1) education was truly a ticket to empowerment and stability and (2) everything in the world would prove useless without hard work and discipline.
Barbara Price
An academic idealist.
Barbara Price may have come from rocky beginnings, but her legacy endures. Despite experiencing financial strain growing up, she never gave up on her pursuit of education. Practically for the times, Barbara attended secretary school and began working at the age of 16. Later, as a mother, Barbara instilled the value of education and worked hard to provide her children with even greater opportunities than what she had known.
Bobby Joe Price
A relentless worker.
Bobby Joe Price was a war veteran from rural South Carolina, who's legacy is the spark for joyful laughter and the oasis of well-deserved rest. Starting as a boy from rural South Carolina, Bob's life transitioned from soldier to husband, father to grandfather over the course of his years. Bobby Joe was a tireless provider, often working long hours to put food on the table for his family. However, consistently, his simplicity and boundless love for his family often made him a source of comfort in times of need.
